Golden Monkey Tracking in Volcanoes National Park

Spend an hour with a troop of endangered golden monkeys in the bamboo forest at the foot of the Virunga volcanoes.
Golden monkeys live only in the Virunga Mountains. Their orange-gold fur and lively behaviour make them one of the most rewarding, and easiest, primate treks in Rwanda.
After a briefing at park headquarters, you walk into the bamboo forest with your guides. Once you find the troop, you have up to an hour to watch them leap between stems and feed on bamboo shoots.
