The Rwanda Art Museum was formerly known as the Presidential Palace Museum . This museum appeals to lovers of Art and it showcases contemporary art works with a touch of Rwandan Originality. The Rwandan Art exhibits are a fusion of the olden times in Rwanda to the Modern day adbancements. There’s a storyline to tell of the Rwanda’s evolution, ways, culture and the people all through the art works. The Art exhibition and display also stretches beyond Rwandan Art to International Artworks and designs.
Another important section to visit within the Art Museum gardens , is the debris from the Presidential Jet that went down on 6th April 1994 and this site remains a heritage site.
