Are you interested in community tourism and getting to know the local way of life of the Rwandan people? then the Nyamirambo Village walk is what you need. Nyamirambo is a surburb in Kigali that has an elevation of 1,577 meters and is approximately 20 minutes drive froom Kigali city centre and is situated close to the surburbs of Nyarugenge and Kiyovu.
During the Nyamirambo community Walking experience you get to spend some time in a typical Rwandan homestead and participate in making some local dishes, local brew and handmade butter, this gives you an authentic feel and understanding of Rwandan culture first hand. You also get to interact and learn some new things about Rwandan people and culture.
